LOVE THIS IDEA!!! I am so freaked out to see this! Not that I’m a huge current-day JCVD fan, nor do I think he’s the greatest gift to acting, but the things people are saying about this film just don’t make sense! I mean, when else have there been critics hailing a Jean-Claude performance as “unforgettable” or “a revelation” or Jeff Anderson’s favorite movie of the year!?
Of course the film is playing on a childhood nostalgia for an action star of the (way) past… but I’m crazy excited! Website says it opens the Nuart this Friday!
