Food, Inc. Trailer
In Theater 06/12/2009
Filmmaker Robert Kenner lifts the veil on our nation's food industry, exposing the highly mechanized underbelly that's been hidden from the American consumer with the consent of our government's regulatory agencies, USDA and FDA. Our nation's food supply is now controlled by a handful of corporations that often put profit ahead of consumer health, the livelihood of the American farmer, the safety of workers and our own environment. We have bigger-breasted chickens, the perfect pork chop, insecticide-resistant soybean seeds, even tomatoes that won't go bad, but we also have new strains of e coli--the harmful bacteria that causes illness for an estimated 73,000 Americans annually.

WoW! Other countries I’ve been to have better food than we do!!! Bring’em on down! It’s not too late to tell us, please. I’ve traveled across the country and I can’t believe that most people are FAT! Why? We’re the ones to plump up! Remember, “let them eat cake?” Our government says: :let them eat corn! Thanks for taking the time to make this movie:)
This movie isn’t that all great. More than that, i wish it wasn’t even in theaters!!
Just put it on the Lifetime Channel……
Just one of many blind american farm humans that are content with the status quo. This movie isn’t great for a fictional story line, or wild special effects with a star studded cast. This movie is great however in that is keeping alive a very important american tradition…. LIBERTY. When personal happiness is blotted out due to the insatiable need for greedy corporations to monopolize. I say let there be movies like this to speak out for people being tyrannized by a system that refuses to replace its broken parts
: ) I’m glad its in the theaters. We need more movies made like this to be given great support. Capitalism cares only for profit. Never caring for the well being of society.
And I’m not communist… I just care about my neighbors down steam. Especially neighbors just south of Tar Hill North Carolina, Home to the largest hog slaughter houses in the world.
